The Princeton Review’s “2014 Guide to Green Colleges” serves as yet another way the internet can trigger real-world environmental influence. As high school students are researching their educational options, this list serves as a direct guide to the institutions that give environmentalism a priority. The colleges are graded on several factors like the sustainability of their campus life, how environmentally responsible their policies are and how prepared their students are for employment in a clean energy economy. Schools also receive points for having local, organic food in their cafeterias, LEED certified buildings, communal transportation and environmental studies offerings.
